Resident artists Aliansyah Caniago and Phu Luc (The Appendix Group) shared insights into their practices following with a panel discussion. Aliansyah Caniago is a painter and performance artist concerned with activism and social realism in public space. Based in Bandung, Indonesia, Caniago will be staying in Saigon for one month; during this time he will complete a durational performance, the details of which will be announced at his talk. Hanoi based performance art group Phu Luc (The Appendix) was founded in 2010 by six artists and is currently made up by four core members: Nguyễn Huy An, Vũ Đức Toàn, Nguyễn Song and Ngô Thành Bắc. From March to August, they will be based at MoT+++, acting as an anchor for the performance plus program. Saturday, March 17 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm English and Vietnamese with translation.
