about
a.Farm would like to invite you to an Open Studio with x/o and exxonnubile, our artists-in-residence. They will present an experimental performance excerpted from an ongoing body of work. A study in molting and contact, the performance is visceral and wet, featuring improvised noise, experimental music and live sculpting. Interested in connection and mutual care through the lens of queer ecology, their project reinterprets rituals in nature. Through layered textures, shadow play and semi-transparent forms, the work exists in the space between concealment and exposure. After the performance, what remains are two new sculptural works. This event requires no registration beforehand, so come explore with us.
