about
“At any place, with/out a name.” “địa/phương ~ local-liti” is a group exhibition inaugurated by Sao La and also to kick-start Art Walk part deux through 10 art studios in Ho Chi Minh City with many other activities throughout the month of October. “địa/phương ~ local-liti” opens up a space that is familiar yet strange, inviting the visitors to experience and explore deeper into the existing surface of each work; where, next to the messages and personal stories, the works are all directly or indirectly evoke the notion of “place”, beyond the geographical boundaries. “địa/phương ~ local-liti” can be considered as a suggestive theme for this year’s “Art Walk” program, which aims to broaden the concept of interaction between exhibition space and the viewers Participating artists: Trần Văn Thảo Hoàng Tường Minh Trần Việt Hưng Ngô Đình Bảo Châu Chicko Nguyễn Văn Đủ Lưu Chữ Lê Phi Long Lu Nguyen Đào Tùng Sto Len Đỗ Nguyễn Lập Xuân Sao La ** Music performers: Datmaniac Nguyễn Hồng Giang (Art Walk 2016 is kindly funded by CDEF)
