performance plus 2019 born at Mie, Japan 1985, Masayuki Miyaji finished Master of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts. Miyaji was thinking impossibility of material when he was sculpture course student. his idea was extended by combining media theory, affordance theory, etc. “possibility and impossibility are two sides of same coin. it is his purpose that making new possibilities by reconstructing impossibilities.” this theory doesn’t care material, category, space etc. It’s flexible. he made many artworks on travel base. For example,Sapporo, Akita, Chiba, Ibaraki, Seoul, Daegu and Bangkok. Masayuki Miyaji participation is supported by Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) Mobility First!
