about the host

Quoc Anh Le (b. 1999, Vietnam) is a painter whose work explores the emotional terrain of love, loss, and memory. Working with a minimalist visual language, his paintings carry an intensity of feeling that belies their restraint — vulnerability rendered as form.

His series Eros, Erotoropia, Philautia, Philia, Pragma, Storge and Agápe, shown at MoT+++, maps the Greek taxonomy of love through the lens of personal experience, paying tribute to a lost relationship while connecting with a broader human condition. When in the studio, he is in the company of his pets. He has participated in group exhibitions at MoT+++, Ho Chi Minh City, where he lives and works.
